Dental care for the next 30 years
From preventive dentistry
to esthetic treatment
with outstanding technology
All procedures are uninsured, in pursuit of ideal medical care.
Private dental clinic boasts state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
Private dental clinic of
bespoke style
In Japan, we have two main treatment options. One being National Health Insurance where dental treatment is 70% covered but has limitations in treatment, working time and materials. The other is private treatment where it’s non-covered. For the longevity of good dentistry, I believe it is important for dentists to practice private dentistry.
What are the advantages of
coming to our clinic?
All treatments are not covered by health insurance! A rare and precious “private specialty dental clinic" in Japan
Prosthetic restorative treatment with a 10-year warranty for peace of mind
Regular visits to our office for maintenance after your treatment is complete will ensure long-term stable treatment results.
※Details will be explained during your visit.
Amazingly detailed explanations and medical care.
We start with a dental checkup to understand your situation. Dr. Takayama, the director of the clinic, is in charge of explaining the detailed results and holding a preliminary consultation meeting before starting treatment.
We will carefully attend to you until you are satisfied with the results.
Precision medical examination to prevent recurrence of disease
Our dentists and dental hygienists do not use the naked eye to perform uncertain treatments, but use microscopes and loupes for all procedures. The precision of the treatment leads to long-term stability.
Infection prevention measures that even your peers can agree on.
We are equipped with extra-oral vacuum, rubber dam, face guard, medical mask, anti-virus air purifier, and European standard disinfection and sterilization equipment, and we take safety into consideration by ensuring that only a small number of patients are treated by appointment only.
The medical staff is easy to talk to and trustworthy.
All of our staff are professionally qualified in their specialties. In addition to their daily practice, they are all on a mission to attend conferences, give lectures, write literature, and are very good at explaining things. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
24/7 contact support
We accept inquiries about consultations and appointments by email or LINE at any time, even outside of clinic hours. You can rest assured that we will be here for you no matter when you have a problem.
Dental treatment that
combines science and art
We will pursue natural health and beauty in treatment results based on scientific support.
The color of the teeth can be finished to the patient's preference.
Dental treatment can also be compared to architecture.
Preliminary investigation, architectural planning, structural calculation of the building, ground improvement, earthquake resistance measures, and design.
Earthquake resistance, comfortable living space, and design - these are common to dental care.
Self-care and regular professional maintenance are also essential for long-lasting comfort.
Restore the natural form and color tone.
One day fix, cavity treatment under old fillings.
Direct bonding: 22,000~110,000 (tax included)

Flow of medical treatment
To maintain oral health and aesthetics for a lifetime
In order to maintain your oral health for a lifetime, our first priority is to prevent diseases such as tooth d ecay and gum disease, and to prevent them from recurring once they have been treated. To achieve this, we do not examine only one tooth but consider the patient's entire mouth as a unit. It is meaningless to fi nish a partial treatment quickly and easily if other parts of the mouth are affected after the treatment or i f the treatment itself does not last for a long time. We will conduct necessary examinations, collect and a nalyze sufficient information and data, and share the information with our patients before starting the "best treatment". In order to review and resolve the cause of the disease from the root, and to provide the best treatment and prevention tailored to each individual patient, we provide all medical examinations under a private medical care system.

STEP 01
Initial interview and first aid(1.5h)
First of all, we will discuss your wishes and concerns in a private counseling room, and perform a simple x-ray and intraoral photographic examination to grasp the approximate condition of your mouth.
At the sam e time, we will use a microscope to check and photograph the situation, which will be displayed on the sc reen and explained to you. If necessary, we will take emergency measures for "pain", "esthetics", or any ot her symptoms that may be an obstacle to your life. We will also explain our treatment system to you. Mos t dental diseases are chronic diseases. Let's remove the symptoms and then calm down and work on the t reatment.【Cost】 16,500 (tax included)
・Counseling (Panoramic x-ray, 5 intraoral photographs, microscopic check)
・First aid treatment (cost: negotiable) -
STEP 02

First, we will examine your oral and general health. We will examine your oral health and general conditio n.
Generally, "inflammation" and "unbalanced bite forces" cause the oral environment to collapse.
Even if you don't currently have any specific symptoms, you may be at risk for future problems that you ar e unaware of. It is important to investigate these risks before any medical treatment or procedure is perfor med.【Inspection items 】
・X-ray photography (18 dental, CT, Cephalo)
・Photography (intraoral 14-image method, facial appearance)
・Periodontal histology
・Periodontal Pathogen Testing
・OHIS (Periodontal Disease Risk Screening) Drugs and Drugs Act
・Saliva test
・Taking impressions of models for diagnosis

・Occlusal extraction (CR/ICP)
・Lifestyle Questionnaire
・Facebow Transfer
・Oral cancer screening【Inspection fee】

STEP 03
Explanation of test results and co-diagnosis
Confirm the results of the STEP2 examination with Dr. Takayama, the director of the clinic. It is important for you to know the state of your oral health by yourself. We will give you the results in a file called "Oral Health Care Notebook".
【Cost】
hour, 5,500 (tax included) -
STEP 04
Explanation of treatment plan and meeting
After explaining the results in STEP3 and making sure you understand your current situation, we will discu ss your treatment plan and method with our Director, Mr. Takayama. We will then provide you with a treat ment plan and estimate.
We start the treatment after sufficient consultation and discussion so that we can provide the best treatm ent for each individual patient.【Cost】
hour, 5,500 (tax included) -
STEP 05
Preventive treatment and basic periodontal treatment (8-15 times)
Before any dental work is done, a professional dental hygienist will improve the environment of your mouth. This will help to reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. This also leads to the creation of resto rations and prosthetics that are more accurate, aesthetically pleasing, and stable over the long term. The d ental treatment includes "etiology of caries and periodontal disease", "self-care guidance including lifestyle i mprovement and brushing training", "tartar removal" to reduce gingival inflammation, and "fluoride applicatio n" to prevent dental caries. Our dental hygienists use microscopes to remove tartar and provide careful tre atment that does not damage the teeth and gums. We also consider the prophylaxis products such as toot hbrushes and mouthwash as part of the treatment equipment and prescribe them based on the results of the examination. The preventive treatment and basic periodontal treatment can achieve better results throu gh the patient's own efforts.
-
STEP 06
Re-evaluation and explanation of results
We will review the results of your treatment, re-evaluate the healing process, and explain the results to yo u. We will confirm that the inflammation in the periodontal tissue has improved to a state where the oral environment can be maintained in the future, and we will review the future treatment plan.
【Inspection items 】
・Intraoral Photographs
・Periodontal histology
・Cavity Risk Screening
・Periodontal Disease Risk Screening -
STEP 07
Treatment
We provide cavity treatment, root canal treatment, crown and denture treatment, periodontal surgery, impla nt treatment, and orthodontic treatment. All dental treatments are always performed using a microscope to ensure precision and long-term stable results without the need for repeated treatments.
-
STEP 08
Re-examination and examination(2h-3h)
Once all treatments have been completed, we will review and re-evaluate the results and status of treatme nt to date.
We will confirm that your oral environment has improved to the point where it can be maintained in the fu ture, revisit preventive methods, and determine maintenance intervals.【Inspection items】
・Intraoral Photographs
・Cavity Risk Screening
・Periodontal histology
・Periodontal Disease Risk Screening
・X-ray inspection 18-plate method
・Diagnosis of jaw occlusion【Inspection fee】
Children ¥44,000 (tax included) / adults ¥88,000 (tax included) -
STEP 09
Explanation(1h)
Explain the results of the re-checkup and examination. Using intraoral photographs and data from the exa mination, we will explain how your mouth has improved before and after treatment. We will also suggest p reventive measures and the period of regular maintenance according to your risk.
【Cost】
¥5,500 (tax included) -
STEP 10
Regular maintenance [once every 3 to 6 months] (1 to 1.5 hours)
Self-care and maintenance are essential to maintaining good oral health.
During maintenance, the dental hygienist will check for proper self-care, understand the risks and effective preventive measures for each patient, and remove stains between the teeth and in the grooves between t he teeth and the gum line that are difficult to remove with tooth brushing. Be sure to follow the maintenance intervals to maintain good oral health.
The post-treatment warranty is contingent on you receiving regular maintenance visits at least twice a year.【Maintenance fee】
¥27,500~33,000 (tax included)※The above treatment flow is basic, but we can also provide emergency treatment as needed. In addition, if you are in a hurry, you can make a half-day or full-day appointment for concentrated treatment. We are flexible to other treatments as long as they are within the medically correct range, so please consult with us.
【Our practice system is based on the dental philosophy of Dr. L.D. Pankey (1906-1989). 】
- Be positive and honest.
- I do the best I know how to do with every patient.
- Helping patients maintain all of their teeth for a lifetime for maximum comfort, function, health and aesthe tics
- Continuous study of outstanding dental skills and scholarship
Based on the above ideas, all of us at Shinyurigaoka Minami Dental are committed to working hard and st udying every day to ensure that you can rely on us for lifelong oral health care.
We hope that as many people as possible will understand this type of dental care and maintain their oral health throughout their lives.
Total Treatment Concept
"to review problems
from the root"
When maintaining oral health and restoring aesthetics, it is important to assess the risk of disease and identify problems through a preliminary dental exam and then proceed with treatment based on a preventive dentistry approach.
At Shinyurigaoka Minami Dental Clinic, we practice the "Total Treatment Concept", which prioritizes the patient's interests and provides comprehensive dental care that is medically and academically correct.
Introduction of the Director
Greetings from the Director
"To maintain your oral health throughout your life."
At Shinyurigaoka Minami Dentistry, we are serious about helping you maintain a healthy oral environment o ver the long term, enjoy a lifetime of delicious food, and enjoy conversation with confidence in your smile and mouth.
To do this, it is important to have a detailed understanding of your current oral condition and to predict p ossible future situations in advance. We believe that only by sharing this information with you, the patient, can we understand and implement effective prevention and treatment methods. We believe that the most important thing is to build a relationship of trust with our patients, so before the first consultation, we star t by talking to you slowly in the counseling room and communicating fully with you.
I myself worked in a large, well-equipped dental clinic for 12 years before opening my own practice, and I have studied by dealing with a variety of cases and patients.
Based on our experience during that period, we realized the limitations of the Japanese insurance-based pr actice system in practicing the best technology, knowledge and communication we could offer, and we cho se the current free medical practice style.
Based on this premise, our clinic is committed to global standards, and we value daily study to improve our treatment techniques so that our patients can receive the "best possible medical care".
